My career counts fourteen years in diplomacy, project development and implementation, policy formulation, analysis and academic teaching. As an analyst of international affairs, with expertise in assessing inter-regional political and economic developments, I have successfully addressed issues of international security, International trade, sustainable economic development and human rights. A comprehensive academic and professional background formed a solid foundation for my leadership skills and excellent organizational and managerial abilities. In addition to my skills in policy formulation, project management, and reporting, I have significant experience in developing comprehensive public relations strategies and spearheading media outreach campaigns at the Embassy of Georgia in D.C. Throughout my tenure at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at the Ministry of Justice, I have worked on International Human rights cases related to Georgia's occupied regions of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali Region/South Ossetia. As a professional negotiator, I have a track record of successfully negotiating international bilateral agreements with particular emphasis on EU-Georgia Association Agreement/DCFTA and Millennium Challenge Compact aimed at reducing poverty through economic growth in Georgia. In my capacity as deputy director of the Department of International Law, I had an opportunity to lead a team of professionals, and supervise and manage staff efforts for several years. As a member of the Georgian embassy team in Washington D.C., I have formulated, initiated and advocated for Resolutions in Congress on Georgia's territorial Integrity and deepening of U.S.-Georgia bilateral trade relations eventually aiming at reaching the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the U.S. I led the team efforts and reached an agreement with the US Congress Appropriations Committee on the language on Georgia's Funding in the U.S. Budget, which reaffirmed the U.S. support for Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, promoted Georgia's democratic development, economic and good governance reforms, and expressed support for Georgia's future membership to NATO. I was actively involved in organizing and coordinating the annual economic, trade and energy working group sessions under the US-Georgia Strategic Partnership Charter. As Georgia's first focal point at the Organization of American States, I promoted Georgia's achievements in South American Hemisphere, sharing with OAS Member States expertise on Georgia's successful reforms in public services, e-government, good governance, transparency, accountability and fight against corruption.
