Area of Intervention: Presently SPECTRA organization has been working in the areas of Rajasthan, Haryana and MP. In Rajasthan we are working in Jalore, Banswara, Jodhpur, Alwar, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Dholpur block namely namely Ahore, Sajjangarh , Umarain, Kishangarh bass, Tijara, Ramgarh, Rajgarh, Baseri, Deeg, Nagar, Weir, Bansur, Nadbai, Bayana as well as 95 villages of Nuh Mewat of Haryana , Khargaon in MP and three blocks of Jodhpur namely Osian, Balesar and Bhopalgarh in Rajasthan. We are working in 300 villages in very remote area of blocks. These are the most backward blocks in the district on Female literacy indicators. Agriculture and animal husbandry are the main occupations for livelihood, as it happens to be a totally non-urbanized and non-industrialized area. It has a high proportion scheduled castes, Tribal and Minority (Meo Muslims), the most backward communities in the caste hierarchy. High proportion of disadvantaged communities in the total population and low indicators of development (Sex ratio and literacy rates), all indicate that this is a backward poor rural area. SPECTRA works in Rajasthan highest-need, hardest-to-reach areas Collaborating locally to bring health within reach: SPECTRA ORG. began working in Rajasthan in 1996 to address some of the country’s crucial health problems. Over more than three decades, our program in the region has grown to become one of our largest. We work in some of the country’s highestneed and hardest-to-reach areas, collaborating with governments, communities, companies, researchers, and public health practitioners to find health solutions. Preventing disease through vaccines and immunizations: SPECTRA ORG. works in Rajasthan to help develop new vaccines and vaccine technologies and strengthen immunization services to reach even the most remote villages. We’re advancing new vaccines against malaria, meningitis, pneumococcal disease (the most common cause of severe pneumonia), and rotavirus (the most common cause of severe diarrhoea) by collaborating with partners on vaccine development, formulation, manufacturing, and compliance with regulatory authorities. Major Programs and Projects Run by SPECTRA We work closely with the Government of Rajasthan to strengthen health systems to introduce new vaccines and improve access to immunization services. SPECTRA ORG. is helping to increase immunization coverage for young children in the slums of the state of Rajasthan. Through our partnership with the Rajasthan government, we helped ensure that children state wide received vaccine against Japanese encephalitis, a debilitating disease that in Rajasthan strikes mainly poor, rural communities. We helped introduce hepatitis B vaccine in the routine immunization program. The vaccine is now available free of cost in most state immunization programs. SPECTRA ORG. also facilitates research in Rajasthan on methods to protect vaccines from damage due to exposure to extreme temperatures during transport and storage. Because reuse of needles can increase the risk of spreading HIV, hepatitis B, and other infections, SPECTRA ORG. has supported manufacturers to mass-produce single-use syringes to make them available and affordable. Improving health for mothers and children: Every year, thousands of children in Rajasthan die within a month of birth. Thousands more survive, but grow up weak or sickly. Often, these outcomes could be avoided with increased health education. Through SPECTRA ORG enhancing Rajasthan’s health system while helping families understand simple steps they can take to help their babies thrive. Despite advances, women in Rajasthan continue to be threatened by two highly preventable causes of death: postpartum haemorrhage and cervical cancer. Rajasthan’s maternal mortality rate is 407 per 100,000 live births; 30 percent of the deaths are due to excessive bleeding after childbirth. SPECTRA ORG. is working to understand the factors that lead to the inappropriate use of oxytocin—a drug with the potential to dramatically decrease postpartum haemorrhage- and to determine how to use it safely. We’re also gathering information that will help Rajasthan establish a comprehensive cervical cancer prevention plan. Access to safe water and healthy food: Millions of poor families in Rajasthan lack access to safe drinking water, a condition that poses a daily threat to their health. We conducted extensive testing with potential users to design a household water treatment and storage device for Rajasthan families. Now, we’re collaborating with manufacturers and distributors to provide a product that has the potential to make safe drinking water available and affordable. In this Controlling tuberculosis: Rajasthan has the highest burden of tuberculosis (TB) in the world. With 1.8 million cases occurring annually and 333,000 deaths from TB, Rajasthan accounts for one-fifth of the world’s new TB cases and two-thirds of the cases in Southeast Asia. More than 70 percent of cases occur in the economically productive 15– to 54-year-old age group. Their deaths take a terrible toll on families and economies. SPECTRA ORG. supports the State government and across all districts by strengthening communication, laboratories, infection control, and surveillance of multidrug-resistant TB. Spectra initiated Women Health & Rights Advocacy Partnership Project on safe motherhood in the areas of Rajasthan. This is a campaigning based project, main thrust area of this project is advocacy on maternal and child services through raising demand from the community. In this project we are working –  For Safe Motherhood, making advocacy on policy – legal & programmatic issues to bring a change.  Creating awareness among various stakeholders of society towards problems and policies related to Safe Motherhood.  Developing knowledge among Network partners through regular dialogue and communication.  Making Capacity building of individuals and organizations on Safe Motherhood. Under this project we conduct different campaigning programs like Hamari Awaz Suno, Youth Bol Program. SUMA (Surakshit Matritva Gathbandhan) Project Supported by CHETNA Hamari Awaz Suno- Spectra in partnership with SUMA undertook the responsibility of engaging with women and explore their asks to improve reproductive and maternal health services in Rajasthan. The campaign is known as ―Hamari Awaz Suno‖ and implemented in 23 districts of the state. The campaign was mainly conducted for asking women about their expectations related to quality reproductive and maternal healthcare services; where the findings are- Women shared their issues during pregnancy period and need of female gynaecologist in the villages. There are no facilities of safe drinking water, toilet facilities and waiting room in the Primary/ Sub health centres. Youth Bol- This is a national campaign in India to understand adolescents and young people’s healthcare needs and use the findings to guide health systems to become more adolescent and youth friendly. Spectra also conducted this campaigning program through online and offline both, at the project areas of Rajasthan. In this program mainly we focus on the articulation of top priority for young people in India when it comes to quality healthcare services – from accessing services, service provider attitudes and the quality of services received, data to inform youth policies and programs to enable tailoring of interventions more in-line with the needs of the youth and Clear understanding of barriers faced by adolescents and young people in accessing healthcare services. Capacity Building & Preparation Of Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM) Plan Supported by EU-SPP State Water Resource and Planning Department, Rajasthan SPECTRA introduced integrated water resources management plan in Osian, Balesar and Bhopalgarh blocks of Jodhopur in Rajasthan. Agriculture and watershed are the thrust area of the organisation. Integrated water resources management is a systematic process for the sustainable development, allocation and monitoring of water resource use in the context of social, economic and environmental objectives. In this project we ensured that economically backward families, women, SC/ST, Underprivileged people can take part in the planning and implementation process of the project. That is evident to us all. High irrigation demands and polluted drainage flows from agriculture mean less freshwater for drinking or industrial use; contaminated municipal and industrial wastewater pollutes rivers and threatens ecosystems; if water has to be left in a river to protect fisheries and ecosystems, less can be diverted to grow crops. Through the project Spectra ensured the following initiatives-  Recognition and ensure active functioning of the VWHSC members at the water resource centre.  Preparation of GP-IWRM plans through active participation of its trained members (VWHSC) and Gram Sabha members employing PRA and other techniques; master trainer will act as facilitators in this process.  Ensuring Drinking water security through RWH, Tanks and other structure.  Ensuring Drinking water security for animals through renovating of old structure.  Promoting Artificial Recharge in existing and proposed water bodies abandoned Hand Pumps, Tube wells and dug wells.  Provision of soak pit for domestic sewage water drainage of individual household or cluster of houses.  Provision of drains in the villages to carry storm/waste water for proper disposal.  Provision of community Tanks with artificial catchments area in fields for meeting drinking water needs of agriculture workers.  Catchments treatment of existing surface water bodies including construction of feeder channel.  Provision of rain gauge, and of measuring tape for water level management in selected wells, preferably nonpumping wells. The school may arrange for display of daily rainfall data on a blackboard within the school premises to raise awareness among children, teachers and parents.  Environment awareness activities among school students through debates, lectures, painting competition, celebrating of World Environment Day, World Water Day etc.  VWHSC shall be oriented to work towards self-sufficiency in terms of O&M of drinking water schemes. For this, the VWHSC shall be trained on ways and means of recovery of O&M charges after approval of gram sabha; the VWHSC shall also consider punitive measures that aim to reduce the demand –supply gap emerging from the IWRM plan.  Work towards developing an ambience for innovative for water conservation, harvesting and demand management to emerge, and propagated. In addition, develop a learning environment for innovative ideas to be gathered from elsewhere for adoption / adaptation to the local situation. This project include IEC message through painting on walls of schools, Community halls and other institutions. Water Resource Centre –  Spectra organisation will establish and run the Water Resource Centre at Osian, Balesar and Bhopalgarh Blocks in Jodhpur district. The WRC will have all basic facilities such as office space, office equipment, and computer and printer. The WRC will have the following key functions.  Social mobilization for water management on IWRM principles.  Working with VWHSC to prepare GP-IWRM plan with the objective of approval by the gram sabha and district IWRM team.  Preparing proposal as necessary, based on GP-IWRM plan, for seeking funding support from existing schemes and projects such as MNREGA, TSC and finance commission, MPLADS, MLALADS and from the EU-SPP, keeping convergence of funds principle.  Implementation of IWRM plans through VWHSC.  Providing support such as IEC material and literature, and administrative handholding as necessary to the VWHSC /Gram Sabha members.  Organizing technical and social support as needed by the GPs / VWHSC / Gram Sabha, including from the line department.  Establish an internal system of coordination and monitoring of GP level activities within the block and reporting to the District IWRM Team.  Taking immediate corrective measures where necessary to ensure smooth progress and achievement of targets etc.  Organizing data collected through IWRM plan activity in formats (to be provided by the client) and submitting the same in electronic form to the District IWRM Team on quarterly basis. Promotion and capacity building of SHGs Supported by NABARD Jaipur Spectra started work for SHGs in 58 villages. Spectra has formed 300 SHGs in 58 villages of Kishagarh Bas Tehsil. Beside it under some other projects we have formed 45 SHGs. 15 SHGs have been formed with the help of N.C.L.P. supported programme in which the parents of 100 children have been given training to capacity building and documentation for improving their economic condition. Till now Spectra has got opened the accounts of 500 SHGs out of 600 SHGs in the Bank. Spectra on his own level with bank, is working with these SHGs for credit exchange. Above groups has accumulated the Rs 6625000 as saving. For setting up their own business they have been provided credit of lump-sum Rs 100000 from Banks. The project being run by Spectra under the women good governance, in 40 villages of Ramgarh Tehsil 50 SHGs have been formed. After formation of above SHGs, Spectra had organized the two day’s exposure tour in the Bharatpur under this tour 30 women of SHGs’ leaders got benefited. Spectra organize monthly meetings of these SHGs in which a representative of Spectra is always presented. These groups give small debt to the member of its members whenever she needs. With this money she can begin her own occupation. In the exchange of use of this money she has to pay a very little money as a debt. In this way it is proved fine for both, dept provider and debt receiver. The people who want to set up their own industry, SPECTRA Org. manages for their training and their connection from industry department for the skill development. Empowering Women Self Help Groups and Enhancing Livelihoods supported by Letz Dream Foundation SHGs formation: We identified the poor women through base line survey and women meetings throughout in our projected area. We organised poor rural women into community institutions in the form of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) - each consisting of 10-15 women -- that act as social platforms to address issues of financial inclusion, healthcare, livelihoods, education and the environment. After formation of the group the members are linked to bank. Monthly Group meetings of SHGs: The monthly meeting is organized every month with SHG groups in the projected villages of Kishangarh Bass block in Alwar district. SPECTRA staff discussed with SHG members about SRI technique and crop management with new methods applying in the agricultural activities. They also discussed about the dairy and marketing linkage with them. Each participant shared their experience as well as field experience. The problems raised by them has short out efficiently and discussion was started how can resolve their problems with mutual efforts. Group members got knowledge on how to keep book records properly so that the functioning of group would be running smoothly. Monthly savings and internal lending in SHGs: The group members are saving 50 to 100 rupees per month with the average monthly group saving of Rs.140700 in 100 groups and have saved Rs.14, 2329318 till Nov -2019. Now 100 Groups saved their average saving amount of Rs. 669832 in Bank and there is disbursements of average inter loaning of Rs. 1659486 in 100 groups which is used to meet their domestic and financial needs in their day to day life. Agriculture Promotion- Training on Crop Management and SRI Technique: Despite 70 per cent of the population being engaged in agriculture and allied activities, declining food grains production and lack of food security remain the two biggest problems confronting our country. SPECTRA`s approach is to carry out crop productivity enhancement by means of helping the farmers to identify and analyse their crop production problems, and become aware about the opportunities for improving. The main focus under this intervention is on awareness generation and purposive transfer of skills. Initially our staff did assessment of existing cropping and traditional method used in the projected area and discussed them with SHG group members. After the knowing well about the crops in the projected area, we started to provide trainings for women about the SRI concept to wheat crop. Now thousands of women across the project area have been trained in making organic compost, which retains the fertility of the soil while increasing yield. The SRI programme started in Kishangarh Bass block of Alwar district. Till now we have reached over 1000 farmers across 30 villages. In the beginning the team was facing difficulties to convince the farmers about SRI adoption, because SRI is a new concept in this area. The team tried to motivate the farmers by using strategies such as external exposures, trainings, regular village meetings, etc to adopt SRI in larger area. Under the umbrella of SRI technique and crop management, SPECTRA organized 22 trainings of 100 groups which resulted in farmer women have been benefited with this technique. We also established 60 demonstration plot of SRI technique for wheat crop in the area. Preparation of Amrut Jal: Watering the plants using Amrut Jal on a weekly basis keeps the soil alive and rich in nutrients. Spraying filtered Amrut Jal once a week or once a fortnight helps in lowering the chance of pest infestation. It is also an excellent foliar spray. For agricultural development we provide training on Amrut Jal in the field that our beneficiaries can use it in the field for better result. Ajola Establishment: For fodder development, Ajola Bed is introduced in the field for cattle-feed. Ajola is green cattle-feed for the increscent of milk production in animal. Women farmers themselves established Ajola bed in their home or near to home. Vermi Compost Establishment: Vermicompost bed is established in the field for the promotion of organic farming. Warmi bed had 3 fit width and 10 fit height. In 25-30 days 1 tan Vermicompost is produced and sold it back in the market at the reasonable price. Vermicompost supplies a suitable mineral balance, improves nutrient availability and could act as complex-fertilizer granules. Dairy Development: SPECTRA works with rural families in the promotion of dairy and animal rearing activities in the project areas of Kishangarh-Bas of Alwar district. In the projected area, rearing practices remain poor, veterinary services are non-existent, and market linkage is absent. Thus SPECTRA seeks to help bring in better-quality breeds, veterinary care, good rearing practices and marketing system. SPECTRA is expanding its outreach programmes with the linkage of poor women with dairy. SPECTRA started the process of collaboration with Saras, Lotus and Mother Dairy for opening the collection centres. SHGs women are linked to SARAS Dairy in the projected area and milk collection centre are opened to dairy promotion. Animal Husbandry: Existing rearing pattern and traditional methods are examined in the projected area and provided training of women in feeding and husbandry practices, veterinary care, and the creation of systems for effective marketing. SPECTRA provides assistance for the induction of new animals, while giving attention as well to better housing and veterinary care, especially the provision of immunization against diseases. Animal Treatment Camp: Animal Treatment Camps were organized in the projected area of Kishangarh bass. Veterinary doctor and compounder checked the animal and prescribed the medicine to them. Before one day SPECTRA staffs contacted the women to get benefit from the camp. Community Meeting: We conduct community meetings with the SHGs women, Sarpanch, Ward panch and other active members in the community. SPECTRA staff made aware of LDF programme and its objective to the community. The discussion was mainly on the concept of SHGs, such as what is SHGs, what is the benefit of it. There we also discuss about their traditional methods of agricultural and introduced with SRI technique. Community people also got knowledge about good animal rearing practices, better housing and immunization against disease. Other activities undertaken  Promotion of Homestead Vegetable Cultivation (Chilly, Tomato and Lady finger)  Our SHGs converted in women farmer club and they are benefited with Govt. Schemes  Formation of Cluster  Under KVK (Krishi Vighyan Kendra) our staff participated in the training on Ajola (Supplementary food) we also provided training to women and they started to use the technique.  Celebration of Women`s Day.  760 SHGs members got benefits of life insurance from the Oriental Insurance Company Ltd.  15 SHGs members were benefited from crop insurance  9 SHGs members also got benefits of Animal insurance  Conducted exposure visit to Jaipur and FTC Neemrana on agriculture of Rabi season, dairy farming, Warmi compost, management of animal and nursery management of vegetable. SPECTRA with collaboration of IIMPACT started Girls Education project through 50 learning centres in projected villages of Kishangarh baas, Ramgarh, and Tijara and Rajgarh blocks of Alwar district. 100 learning centres are running in Nuh Mewat of Haryana. 30 learning centres are running in Khargone of M.P. 30 learning centres are running in Banswara of Rajasthan. The selection of these villages is as per the requirement of educational support in Government schools of that locality. There are some primary issues like low girls’ enrolment, lack of female teachers in Govt. schools, single school teacher, and high dropout rate of students which voice the requirement of the projected support. SPECTRA firmly believe that education plays a significant role in socio-economic development and cultural enrichment of the society and individuals. The major goal is to improve the quality of basic education, ensuring better early caring and learning environments for young children, increasing access to education, retention of the children in school and raising levels of academic achievement. Girls Education Programme (210 Girl Child Education Learning Centres) Supported by IIMPACT “Strengthening girls’ participation in secondary school education” in 10 government schools of Aahore Block under Jalore district in Rajasthan supported by Restless Development We started project on ―Strengthening girls’ participation in secondary school education” in 10 government schools of Aahore block under Jalore district in Rajasthan. This project aims at strengthen the secondary education and the promotion of gender equity in education by reducing the gender gap in access and retention. In Jalor the geographic condition, poor outreach of governmental services and lack of awareness among people makes it a real challenge for our people. We are doing this by involving the services of professionals, youth, local volunteers and services of other government and non government agencies. Jalor district has 8 blocks. In Jalor district, the condition of Govt. school needed an intervention with ensuring the physical facilities and the retention of the children in Govt School. The district has the social and cultural barrier to education especially girls are restricted to get education after primary or even they become drop out in 8th or 10th class. They get early married or supposed to stay home because of cultural and religious constraints. Experience shows that most schools have poor sanitation and hygiene practices. Lack of subject teachers and poor infrastructure are the common problem of this area. Activities undertaken during the project period  Train SMCs to strengthen their performance in ensuring all children attend school and monitoring teacher attendance Disseminate information on the roles and responsibilities of SMCs  New teacher appointments would favour those areas which have had a lack of teachers in the past  Formation of youth group for the purpose of sensitization of community issues  Conduct staffs orientation workshop to familiarize of the programme  Conduct Staff workshop at block level for the purpose of capacity building to support of Govt. School.  Training will be provided to teachers and pedagogical techniques would be included.  New primary schools will be upgraded to secondary and it would be preferentially located in underserved areas based on school mapping and survey data.  Creative Writing, Debate, Quiz competition, Drawing and Music activities will be conducted at school level and the students would be awarded for the best performance.  Awareness generation regarding the existing Govt. Schemes and programmes to get benefits to beneficiaries.  Exposure visit of students to the place where they have something for learning Counselling Centre: The organization will provide counselling support both psychological and career in Govt. school. Counselling forms an important aspect of their rehabilitation Counselling helps the students to identify their hidden talent and also provides psychological, emotional and mental support to cope up with their daily personal problems. Cultural Unit: Along with secondary education, the organization will promote to develop cultural aesthetics help the students to identify their hidden talent and leadership qualities and boost up their self-esteem. Besides, the classes on music, dance, drama, art and yoga have a therapeutic effect on these students and help them to ease out from their up traumatic experiences. On the basis of selection criteria, we provide them skill development course (Polytechnic) along with the placement. Through this programme, we trace out the talent of rural youth which hidden somewhere in them and provide an opportunity to move ahead in their life. SWEEP “Strengthening Women Empowerment through Elected Process-Campaign Supported by THP (The Hunger Project) Empowerment of women is essentially the process of upliftment of economic, social and political status of women, the traditionally underprivileged ones, in the society. It involves the building up of a society wherein in women can breathe without the fear of oppression, exploitation, apprehension, discrimination. The empowerment of women can be ensured through legislation for ensuring participation in political decision making. Such an approach provides the women with a constitutional platform to stand up to men, to raise their voice on issues concerning women oppression, subjugation and related issues and thus in effect, providing them with an identity in an orthodox male dominated socio-political set up, in addition to providing a much needed forum to seek redressal of problems directly affecting them. The organization initiated the SWEEP campaign in Ramgarh & Kishangarh block of Alwar district to participate of women in and violation free election. Mahila Meetings, Rallies, potential leader workshop and training programmes have been done under SWEEP campaign. Financial Literacy Programme with SHGs in Kishangarh bas of Alwar supported by NABARAD Under this Financial Literacy Programme, it is taught to SHGs women how to make small savings, management of domestic budget and how to avoid the unnecessary expenditure in their life. Training and Skill Development Programme Techno Managerial Skills for Rural Women Supported By Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. Of India, New Delhi, (NCRI Hyderabad) SPECTRA organization provided Techno Managerial Skills for Rural Women in Alwar, Rajasthan. Those women were mostly uneducated, socially and economically weaker section from the society. This kind of women is mostly depending upon her husband or father for their needs. To alleviate this situation the training centre offers a lot of techno managerial course at our rural branch offices to enable women to start in new enterprises. As such the techno managerial centre creates entrepreneurial opportunities for women, leading them to enter the rural job market strength economically weak communities through micro and small enterprises. Rural women gaining self-reliance and selfconfidence. The idea behind this concept is to mobilize women and improve their quality of life. With increasing self-reliance, rural women are becoming more confident and independent; they have successfully improved the quality of life of rural women in many states and helped them to upgrade their skills. An indication of social change is the increasing number of income generating activities being controlled by women. Besides improving the economic standards of life of women, aim at spreading awareness on issues such as literacy, health, nutrition, family welfare, and legal rights through which they can get Empowerment. In order to accomplish this task, individual rural women should improve their awareness levels, communication skills; simple management techniques so that they can improve their confidence, articulate and effectively communicate with their social partners and economic stakeholders. This is possible only through a comprehensive training and the training agencies are expected to organize a tailor-made training module to suit individual group and should be able to monitor their effectiveness with a view to improve their focus and quality. Youth Leadership Development Programme Supported By Nehru Yuva Kendra Under Nehru Yuva Kendra, SPECTRA organized vocational training programmes to develop and empower rural youth with focus and problems confronting them. Training on Agriculture Supported By Letz Dream Foundation Despite 70 per cent of the population being engaged in agriculture and allied activities, declining food grains production and lack of food security remain the two biggest problems confronting our country. SPECTRA`s approach is to carry out crop productivity enhancement by means of helping the farmers to identify and analyse their crop production problems, and become aware about the opportunities for improving. The main focus under this training is on awareness generation and purposive transfer of skills. We started to provide trainings for women about the SRI concept to wheat crop. Now thousands of women across the project area have been trained in making organic compost, which retains the fertility of the soil while increasing yield. The SRI programme started in Kishangarh Bass block of Alwar district. Till now we have reached over 1000 farmers across 30 villages. In the beginning the team was facing difficulties to convince the farmers about SRI adoption. Because SRI is a new concept in this area. The team tried to motivate the farmers by using strategies such as external exposures, trainings, regular village meetings, etc to adopt SRI in larger area. Under the umbrella of SRI technique and crop management, SPECTRA organized 20 trainings of 100 groups which resulted in farmer women have been benefited with this technique. Training on Animal Husbandry and Dairy Promotion Supported By Letz Dream Foundation SPECTRAs interventions on Dairy programmes are being extended through the induction of better quality of breeds, the training of women in feeding and husbandry practices, veterinary care, the development of a cadre of village-based service providers, and the creation of systems for effective marketing. Though holding potential, Dairying remains poorly developed in SPECTRAs project areas. In these areas, the population of domestic animals is higher than the national average. Methods of Buck Collection for the Business:  Kids (6 month) are placed at farmers for a period of short duration (3-5 month). Farmers keep those animals (Bucks) for this duration and give back to the producer company. Producer company weight bucks at the time of giving to farmer. The company will check the weight of bucks again and will pay the farmers as much weight added during that duration as per k.g meet in the current market price.  Company purchases/collects bucks from Self Help Groups women, Kisan clubs, JLGs groups, Pashu Sakhies & Solar Sakhies cadres and they are paid amount as per buck weight.  Producer Company also purchases/collects the bucks from non-project families, other districts/areas and gives the payment to them as per the weight. Impact People are getting interest because company is providing them buck kids and only farmers have to bear rearing expenses. Earlier farmers had difficulty or facing problem to sell their bucks and they were not getting actual weight price due to the involvement of middle man in whole market process. But our company provides them not only bucks but also a platform of market without involvement of middle men so that they can get actual weight prices of their bucks. With the involvement into this marketing process, people not only will get actual price of their bucks but also get dividend of their share of FPO. FPO members are hoping that the community can further increase its capacity through continuing to educate farmers on taking care of their livestock.
