Summary

My name is Taiwo Adebusola Oredipe, a young Nigerian who is dedicated to the development of her nation. I have worked in a number of organisations that concentrated on the development projects. Between January 2013 and February of that same year, I served as Data Entry Officer at the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. I have also had the privilege of working at the capacity of Office Administrator in the Federal Capital Territory Administration. This is a Nigerian government ministry that is saddled with the administration of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. Having left the shores of Nigeria for the United Kingdom in pursuit of my Master’s degree in July 2014, I became involved in a number of volunteering programmes while pursuing my academic programme. I served as General Advisor at Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Refugee Forum. This is an independent voluntary organization and registered charity set up in 2000 funded by the Nottingham City Council to work with, and for, the refugees and asylum seekers in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire offering practical advice, information, support and friendship as well as also joining them in campaigning on issues affecting them. • Best Young Volunteer award at Nottingham and Nottingham Refugee Forum. • Nottingham Trent University Brand Ambassador for Africa 2015
