Tere González García

Tere González is a United Nations Young Leader for the Sustainable Development Goals. She has over 10 years of cross-sector experience. She is a creative communicator, social entrepreneur, and cultural engineer with a global career involving communication strategies, program management, and advocacy. Tere is the co-founder of Liter of Light Mexico, a solar energy initiative working with communities living in energy poverty. She has extensive fieldwork experience with marginalized groups including indigenous peoples, addicts, and gypsies. She currently works to advance gender equality through digital communication strategies. She has worked in Mexico, the U.S., Spain, and India.
