I am AJIBADE TOSIN a Statistician, Demographer & Researcher, Evidence and learning/Monitoring & Evaluation specialist, and public health professional, with discipline background and skills in social epidemiological research. I specialized in Monitoring &Evaluation Systems strengthening, Project Management, Operation Research, Nutrition, Reproductive Health, NTD, Maternal and Newborn health, & Communication Advocacy project. Remarkably, I have over ten years of experience managing FG/USAID/DFID/CDC/MacArthur/ BMGF and other donor supported projects for both Government, international and local organization, coordinating a demanding and reactive workload in a responsive way to assist to meet the country level and Senior Leadership Team’s key objectives and regulatory requirements, in Nigeria. I have worked in similar capacities providing technical oversight on project research activities and national surveys, while I also provide technical guidance on M&E methodologies and tools development, setting targets, selecting indicators and measuring milestones on the implementation of one of the largest Federal government (Home Grown School Feeding Program) project in Nigeria Developing research protocols, ToR for managing consultant, and Conducting baseline & Logframe surveys, MAPPING & pilots evaluation surveys with FMoH/Min. of BnP/FMARD/FMOE/NACA etc, while I strengthening Monitoring & Evaluation and KM system, conducting DQA and Operational research. Managing project Logframe/Result chain/PMP, M&E Plan and database, building staff Capacity, learning & development, documenting best practices and lessons learnt, Establish governance, management and reporting processes to ensure evidence is delivered in a timely manner and affected to corporate and client/partner standards, while providing technical guidance on writing of analytical& progress reports, factsheet, policy brief, advocacy tools, etc. Overseeing the development and maintenance of project database, tracking progress, indicators, guiding project team on implementation and evaluation of interventions to address health outcomes for most at risk & vulnerable population, also supporting national capacity building of GoN staff on the development of various M&E techniques and framework, while I guide the dissemination of all project deliverables in Nigeria. Currently I’m working for MOTT-Mac-Donald (CENL) as a Result and Learning team lead, leading the design, management and delivery of all the results, learning and capacity building including monitoring and evaluation plans and other evidence generating activities. I have worked in the same capacity for other international NGOs, such as Imperial College where I supported the office of the vice president on National School Feeding Program. As a technical staff I provide overall technical guidance on the program M&E, building capacity and conducting research activities in all the states in Nigeria, using influencing techniques to motivate and influence others’ behaviour and persuade them to think and act professionally, while respecting differences in view and culture. I Serves as M&E technical lead, generating creative methodologies for the conducts of research and survey, also, guiding regular sharing of outputs on all operation and sharing findings with the OVP team. I have professional communications etiquette in a professional office environment, acquired over the years by maintaining a positive and professional relationship with co-workers, clients and visitors at my workplace. I’m proficient in the use of computer packages likes SPSS, EPIDATA, Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook etc and possess an excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, that enable me achieve organizational targets to specific tasks and assignments in a pleasant demeanor.
