I am currently employed as a Global Trade Programme Officer and an in-country advisor for Lesotho with the Foreign Commonwealth Office at the British High Commission-Pretoria on the Prosperity Policy and Programmes Team for Her Majesty’s Government (HMG). I am responsible amongst many duties of facilitating Trade Negotiation Talks between the SACU + M and the United Kingdom in securing an Economic Partnership Agreement. I also on a regular basis interact with one of the contractors on the Programme, contracted to do scoping work of the challenges and benefits of utilising the European Partnership Agreements of Trade in the Southern Africa Customs Union Member States.
