Thu Zar Aung

I received two Master degrees. One is Master of Public Administration (PMPA) from Yangon University of Economic, and another one is from University of Yangon with the subject of International Relations. I worked Save the children International with the position of Awards/ Grants Manager (Humanitarian Portfolio), mainly focused on donor, member, partners engagement and project management. With the position of Country Coordinator at terre des hommes-Germany, supported fund raising to 11 local organizations with project monitoring, reporting and budgeting. Over eight years working experience with UNDP Myanmar, I supported multi-sectors implementation for grassroots community with 3 positions. With the position of Township Project Manager, I supervised and worked closely with 16 township level staff who had accountability for timely manner of project implementation, effective and efficient in project activities, coordination and facilitation with local resources, government officials, non -governmental organization as well. Provided technical support and capacity building to all township level staff when I was Technical Specialist (social sector). Provided basic need through demand driven approached to community for Education, Health, Social Infrastructure, Water and Sanitation, livelihood, environment, poorest for the poor, and women empowerment with the position of Township Facilitator.
