Mr Bell is a seasoned and versatile international development professional with 10+ years of technical, managerial and academic experience. He has led projects working with government and private sectors (both at senior levels), youth leaders, CSO/CBOs, Media and research institutions in settings ranging from conflict, post-conflict, reconstruction to transitional. Mr Bell served as Chief of Party for a five year USAID and DID Legislative and CSO Strengthening project, as Team Leader and as Technical Advisor in several USAID and EU development projects. He held senior project management, legal and policy positions in New Zealand and Australia, and developed and taught global development, strategic planning, legal and policy courses in western and other universities. He holds degrees including law to Master’s equivalent level from Victoria University of Wellington and is familiar with many software tools used in development and in law.
