Tracy Mitchell is a resilience expert with 26 years of experience, including as COP, Regional Director, and Technical Director and Advisory roles. Mitchell has successfully led climate resilience and food security programs in Africa and the former Soviet Union as part of USAID and USDA funded programs. She is an experienced technical expert in the areas of climate-smart and climate-sensitive agriculture (livestock, dairy, crop, and aquaculture), food and agricultural market system development (inputs, agroprocessing, trade, financing, and marketing), and systemic resilience. She is also experienced in technical approaches including facilitative programming, participatory process, adaptive management and CLA.
