Summary

I have been working in global health, infection control, nursing, third level education and international development for the past ten years, in Ireland, the UK and developing countries across Sub Saharan Africa and Eastern Europe. Currently undertaking a PhD in International Public Health, I have previously been awarded a Masters of Science in International Health, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Infection Control and undertaken numerous shorter programmes in humanitarian aid, international development and global health topics.I am hardworking, flexible, accomplished at working autonomously and within teams, productive in stressful situations, self-motivated and excel at developing good working relationships. I have a special interest in health systems strengthening, health sector reforms, quality improvement in healthcare, nursing leadership in global health, health professions education and infection control in resource poor settings. Technical Expertise: health systems, HIV, nurse education, infection control, health workforce development, public health.
