Vincent Bontoux is an independent education specialist with a track record of 22 years providing technical assistance and advice on TLM project activities in Africa, Asia-Pacific and Latin America. For a vast array of donors, he has provided specialist input on education projects in Africa (Senegal, Togo, Madagascar, Namibia, Burkina Faso, Chad, Cameroon, Sudan, Djibouti, DRC, Malawi, Lesotho, Mozambique, Liberia, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Uganda, Mauritania …), the former Soviet Union (Georgia, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan) and other parts of the world (Honduras, Ecuador, Mongolia, Nepal, Afghanistan, Timor-Leste, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu). Working on a regular basis with the World Bank, USAID, DFID, MCC, ADB, AFD and ENABEL, he also contributes to improving TLM sector activities by conducting technical assessments, surveys, evaluations and by developing implementation plans for Ministries of Education, international donors, and ongoing projects. Vincent Bontoux holds a Masters Degree in Political Science and a Post Graduate degree in Urban Planning, both from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po Paris). Apart from his native French, he is bilingual in English and Spanish, and speaks fluent Portuguese and German.
