My Name is RIVUZE. N. Wellars, I have a strong technical experience in administration issues, budget and Finance. Procurement, Customs, I have been working in Finance management and administration for more than 22 years. And I have Master’s degree in business administration, specialist in sustainable development. My last job with the United Nations Operation in Côte d’Ivoire (ONUCI) was Cashier and I was acted as bank signatory. I have also experience in AP (Account payable unit), payroll and Budget. I have over twenty-two (22) years’ experience in the fields of administration (Finance, Procurement. Budget ect.) My work experience started with the Public Service in Rwanda where I completed several years of distinguished service at various managerial positions and in very challenging duty stations. As Financial Director of the Kigali hospital, Budget and Finance Director at the Ministry of education as well as in all other positions, I have provided excellent service, demonstrating competencies like strong professionalism, established integrity and more. In 2002, I joined International tribunal Criminal for Rwanda (ICTR) as a national staff. I was then a Travel and shipping assistant in a multicultural environment and in 2004, I got an international position as a United Nations Volunteer, Procurement Officer in Cote d’Ivoire. In July 2006, I was transferred to the Finance Section as UNV Finance Officer. That is a meticulous work that requires much attention and also some speed in order to meet payment deadlines. Throughout this period and also in my next endeavors, I have been a good adviser to my supervisors and to the Chief Finance Section, making suggestions to improve service and client satisfaction and often working overtime to meet deadlines. My assignment as a UN volunteer ended in Jun 2012 and at the same time I was selected as a full UN staff in the same Section and I was appointed Deputy-Chief Payroll Unit and recently I have been appointed deputy-Chief cashier and act as bank signature until end Jun 2017 after mission closed. Also I was part of mission liquidation team. The above-mentioned education, experience, language skills as well as work in multilingual, multicultural and international environments are proofs that, I think, sustain my claim that I can be a good Devex candidate and naturally fit in the post proposed, both socially and professionally and contribute to the good work.
