Mr. Yunus Abdulai is an Agricultural Economist by training and an experienced Country Director and Chief of Party with more than 22 years of experience managing multisectoral nutrition, health system strengthening, food security, access to finance, market linkages, agriculture and public policy, water, sanitation & hygiene, health, environmental sustainability and natural resources management, public financial management, youth and social inclusion in Ghana, Nigeria and Cote d'Ivoire. Mr. Yunus Abdulai has managed large scale donor-funded projects of up to $60 million in size and cumulatively over $120 million as Chief of Party and Country Director. He has served as Chief of Party (Project Director) on several donor funded projects including USAID Resiliency in Northern Ghana (RING), USAID Advancing Nutrition Ghana, USAID Ghana Justice Sector Reform Case Tracking System (CTS) and recently he was the Ghana COP/Country Lead on USAID-supported Feed the Future Ghana Policy LINK Activity. Currently, he is the Country Sustainability Head for Barry Callebaut Group in Ghana. He has managed diverse teams of 200 staff. He has experience in managing relationships with donors, government officials, CSOs, private sector and local community stakeholders. These projects contributed to driving private sector growth, strengthening government systems, improving nutrition, livelihoods, health and wellbeing of communities and people supported. He speaks fluent English and basic French. He program development and evaluation experience in Bangladesh and Kenya.
