Dr. Yves Ilunga Banze is a public health specialist with more than 20 years of experience managing public health and primary health care programs in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), particularly in the areas of Public Health, HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Nutrition, Maternal and child health, Health information systems (HIS), and Monitoring and evaluation (M&E), within the Ministry of Health (MOH) of the DRC and international humanitarian organizations. Before joining Helen Keller International, Dr. Yves served as Chief of Party at RTI International, Project Director and M&E Director at ICAP (at Columbia University), various technical, data management and M&E positions at IMA Worldhealth and International Rescue Committee. Before joining humanitarian organizations, I spent six years with DRC’s MOH as Health Zone Manager. Dr. Yves Ilunga Banze hold a Medical Degree and a Master’s degree in Public Health. He is fluent in French, Swahili, Lingala, with working knowledge of English.
