Description: Democracy International is currently seeking Senior and Mid-Level international development specialists for short and long-term overseas assignments. Interested applicants should have of experience in international development, democracy and governance, humanitarian assistance, or postconflict assistance and in one or more of the following areas:
• program design, implementation, and management • program monitoring and evaluation and evaluation methodology • public opinion and survey research • election processes and election administration • legislative strengthening and political party organizing • rule of law and anticorruption • local government and decentralization • security sector • conflict resolution, prevention and mitigation • postconflict reconstruction • participatory processes, including work with civil society and public agencies • organizational development • group training facilitation • advocacy, strategic communications and media • finance and budget analysis • public administration • information management • legal issues relevant to US government and USAID • logistical management including event planning
Qualifications: Candidates should possess relevant international work experience. An advanced degree in a relevant field, foreign language skills preferred.
