Job Description

The Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) is the lead federal coordinator for international disaster assistance. BHA provides and coordinates U.S. Government (USG) international humanitarian assistance to save lives, alleviate human suffering, and reduce the physical, social and economic impact of rapid and slow-onset disasters by supporting at-risk populations to build stable foundations to withstand humanitarian shocks and stresses. Team Credence, through BHASC, provides operational and administrative support to provide and coordinate humanitarian assistance and maintain 24 hours a day/7 days a week (24/7) response capability.

The Grants Unit Manager is responsible for the strategy, execution, and resolution of grants and competitive award actions for the Task 1- Integrated Assistance and Acquisition Unit. The Grants Unit Manager will be responsible for meeting the needs of BHA assistance requests within the confines of USG Assistance rules, regulations and authorities.

Location: In Office (4 days a week)
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: Starting at $150,000
Clearance: Ability to obtain secret level clearance

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction for the A&A Grants Unit in consultation with BHASC Task 1 Management, the CO, and BHA.
  • Ensure compliance of all staff with applicable federal, state and local laws and the BHASC Performance Work Statements.
  • Provide support for engagement with industry, including events and workshops.
  • Respond to requests for information
  • Provide strategy for overall training, resources, and workforce planning for the A&A- Grants Unit.
  • Delegate tasks strategically and intentionally across teams
  • Participate in the improvement of accountability and efficiencies across the A&A Unit
Qualifications

Bachelors degree and two (2) years of relevant experience.
Masters degree and zero (0) years relevant experience.
High School diploma and six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communications skills – written and verbal.
• Required to have at least US permanent residency with the ability to obtain and maintain Facility Access or have US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
