Context:Working under the overall direction of the Chief of Mission and direct supervision of Senior Program Associate/Executive Assistant, the intern will assist with the operational activities of the Mission.
ResponsibilitiesRoles and Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining and updating filing systems (electronic and hard copy) for administrative documents namely letter-in, letter-out, and contact list.
Assist in the organization and administration of meetings, workshops and events (e.g. arranging for meeting rooms and other facilities)
Provide general office support, including reception duties when required.
Assist in preparing visa application for incoming international IOM personnels.
Assist in typing, formatting, and drafting routine correspondence; collate tables, reports, presentations, publications, and other documentation; and,
Perform other duties as required.
Eligibility and Selection
The Internship Programme aims at attracting talented students and graduates who have a specific interest in, or whose studies have covered, areas relevant to IOM programmes and activities. Interns must be between 20 and 36 years old and should have less than two years of relevant working experience. The Internship Programme is open to candidates of any nationality.
