Job Description

The International Potato Center (CIP) is seeking one (01) proactive and responsible Trainee from Tourism, Hospitality Management or related fields. to be part of the Corporate Administrative Services team.

About the position:

This position will be based in HQ-Lima, Peru and will report directly to the Corporate Administrative Services Officer.

Training activities:

  • Support the implementation, setup, and effective organization of dormitory spaces for guests, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with institutional standards.
  • Actively support in the development and standardization of guest welcome protocols and check-in/check-out procedures as part of the Dorms implementation process.
  • Support the coordination of logistics for guest stays, including room assignments, special requests, and follow-up to ensure a seamless dormitory experience.
  • Assist in the creation of informational materials such as welcome kits, signage, and guest guides.
  • Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Maintenance, Security, Catering) to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Receive training and apply best practices in cleaning procedures, guest services, and other related protocols.
  • Provide administrative support to CAS, including documentation, coordination, and reporting tasks, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or final-year student in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of guest service principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
