Function of the Position:
This position supports implementation, technical deliverable management, and administrative management of Global Health’s portfolio of projects. When necessary, this position also supports all phases of business development activities for the Global Health Business unit.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Project Support
Independently trouble-shoots common problems and escalates more complex issues to technical and management leaders and follows up until resolved. Provides support as needed for administrative tasks for several projects including mobilization, demobilization, AP adjustments, vendor invoice review, Procure to Pay requisitions, and iExpense auditing. Conducts routine auditing of grant and operations files to ensure compliance with client and DAI policies and procedures. Coordinates the administrative activities of the project including mobilizing and demobilizing staff and international consultants, maintaining project files, ensuring submission of project deliverables and close-down.
Technical Assistance
Assist project technical director, mangers, and field teams with technical tasks (triaging project deliverable management, drafting technical assistance SOW, editing reports, drafting templates, etc.). Acts as a liaison to the field for day-to-day problem solving and technical support. Manage consulting agreements for project technical support, including issuing consulting contracts, arranging consultant travel, reviewing and submitting consultant invoices. Potential travel to support project country teams.
New Business Coordination
Supports all phases of new business development including opportunity research, tracking, reconnaissance, recruiting, proposal writing, and proposal coordination.
Other Business Unit Support
Provides support as needed to all other components of the Global Health business and collaborates with colleagues. Provides short-term coverage for traveling staff.
Additional duties may be assigned depending on evolving business needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
