The Regulatory Laboratory Capacity Strengthening program, funded by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s (DFAT) is aimed at strengthening the capabilities of the national quality control laboratories (NQCL) in Cambodia and Laos to reliably perform their function of quality control testing of medical products. This program will complement the Indo-Pacific Regulatory Strengthening Program (RSP), implemented by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). USP will build on its experience and proven approaches to implement sustainable, systems-based approaches to support the governments of Cambodia and Laos to establish Quality Assurance/Quality Control management systems.
Through funding from DFAT, USP plans to implement a study tour that will bring together national quality control laboratory (NQCL) staff from Cambodia, Laos, and Papua New Guinea (PNG) to Indonesia to meet and observe their WHO prequalified (PQ) national quality control laboratory. The aim of this activity is help sensitize these NQCLs from Cambodia, Laos and PNG to the infrastructure and systems required for WHO PQ. To successfully implement this activity, USP is seeking to engage two in-country translators in Indonesia to provide translation services (Bahasa Indonesia/English) for the study tour workshop in Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide translation of key project documents, such as assessment reports, training repots, technical activity/progress reports, and other communications materials.
· Provide simultaneous interpretations for virtual and in-person meetings with stakeholders.
Deliverables
· Activity-based report to USP program manager.
· Translated documents.
Period of Performance
· The anticipated period of performance for this consultancy will be November 01, 2022 to November 30, 2022
