Job Description

Your Mission

Key Roles:

Graphic Design

• Support the development of promotional materials, including brochures, videos, and infographics. Guidance and feedback will be provided to help interns develop their graphic design skills.

Photography and Videography Support (BDF)

• Assist in capturing photos and video footage to create communication materials.
• Develop and enhance skills in using professional equipment and software.

PDPA and Child Protection Support

• Manage and store consent forms within Salesforce, ensuring compliance with data protection and child safeguarding requirements.

Social Media Content Creation

• Assist in crafting compelling daily content for BDF’s social media platforms.
• Collect photos, short videos, and relevant information to support content development.

Dao Ethical Gifts Communication Support

• Support the creation of communication materials for Dao Ethical Gifts, in line with the MOU between Baan Dek Foundation and Dao Ethical Gifts.
• Time spent on these tasks will represent approximately 20% of the intern’s responsibilities.
• Store and organize photos and videos on Google Shared Drive for backup purposes.

Video Editing Support (BSI – Voice from Sectors Series)

• Assist in editing videos to promote the BSI mission and collaboration with the construction sector.
• Provide necessary materials such as footage, photos, and program information to complete the edits.

Support Roles:

Enhancing Awareness and Visibility

• Increase visibility of Baan Dek Foundation’s mission and programs through social media and website content creation and editing.

Training and Capacity Building

• Participate in training sessions and workshops to strengthen communication skills and professional knowledge.

Your Profile

Education / Experience

• Studies in Communication, Media, Community Innovation, or related fields.

Working Knowledge and Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is essential.
• Knowledge of Lightroom, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and AI tools for content creation is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is required.
• Strong interest in human/child rights and social development.

Other Skills and Competencies

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Conversational English and native-level Thai.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all responsibilities.
• Time management support will be provided through regular check-ins and flexible arrangements to ensure deadlines are met.

Baan Dek is a Thai registered foundation with the mission of facilitating access to education, healthcare, and safety for all children in need from the construction sector.100% of donations received are spent on our projects in Thailand.

Today, Baan Dek takes care of more than 1,000 vulnerable children in Chiang Mai. It knows them each one by one and provide critical support by ensuring that they can receive an education, access healthcare, and live in a safe environment.
