Job Description

Sheladia Associates is seeking a professional Building Information Modeling (BIM) Expert to join our team for a road project in Guyana.

Individual will support our Client for the Design Review and Construction Supervision Consultancy Services for East Bank Demerara Road Improvement project using Design - Build and Civil Works Construction modes during the Construction and Design period.

Duties will include guiding the Engineer on the implementation of BIM by the contractors.

Other duties will include:

  • Ensuring Coordination throughout the entire project of the design, construction and maintenance phases.
  • Working with Land & Construction Surveyors regarding the exporting of data that was picked on the field and inputted onto the relative BIM Software.
  • Ensuring a smooth transition between various experts

Qualifications

  • Must have a MSc. In Civil / Structural Engineering
  • Must possess at least 15 years of professional experience and at least 5 years of experience in the road design and construction sector.
  • Prior experience in management of the implementation of BIM in design and supervision of road projects and use of Civil 3D
  • Prior experience in Management of Models in Revit
  • Must have experience on road projects in Project Management of the Design Phase, Construction Phase, Project Closeout and Handover
  • Must have prior experience in working with multiple subject experts: Structural, Civil, Transportation and Utilities etc
  • Must be fluent in both spoken and written English language
  • Prior experience in the region is highly desired.
  • PMP certification is highly desired.
  • Prior experience on IADB funded projects is highly desired.
