Job Description

Our Partnerships team works with top organizations — governments, multilaterals, foundations, NGOs, and private-sector leaders — to deliver high-impact campaigns, events, and thought leadership.

We are now hiring a Business Development Associate, Partnerships— a next-generation role combining executive support, sales support and CRM operations.

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and systems-minded individual to support our VP, Partnerships to ensure business development efforts run with speed, clarity, and precision — leveraging Google Workspace and AI (Gemini), CRM automation, and workflow tools to reduce administrative load, strengthen follow-through, and enable revenue-driving activities.

Your mission: ensure nothing falls through the cracks, eliminate bottlenecks, and help build revenue-generating partnerships with the world’s most impactful organizations.

This role will include:

1. Executive support & coordination, such as:
  • Manage scheduling, calendars, and time-blocking for the VP of Partnerships.
  • Draft follow-up emails, reminders, and internal updates using tools such as Otter, Slack, Gemini, and Gmail.
  • Prepare follow-up materials by summarizing call transcripts, emails, documents, and prior notes.
  • Maintain a live priority system for actions, deadlines, and opportunities, ensuring rapid responsiveness.
  • Manage travel planning and meeting coordination for business trips.
2. Pipeline and proposal development, such as:
  • Support the VP on pipeline organization and high-value opportunity management.
  • Generate first drafts of presentations, proposals, and talking points, leveraging AI tools for speed and synthesis.
  • Create reports, summaries, and dashboards using Salesforce and AI-assisted data extraction for business reviews.
  • Prepare revenue snapshots and performance reports to track BD progress.
3.CRM, sales operations and AI optimization, such as:
  • Own Salesforce data accuracy across partnership opportunities, logging interactions, next steps, call notes, and tasks diligently.
  • Use Gemini to summarize long documents, reports, and call transcripts quickly.
  • Support email outreach campaigns through list-building and follow-up tracking (leveraging tools like Apollo).
  • Identify where AI can reduce administrative load on the VP of Partnerships.
  • Continuously improve our workflows with AI tools (Google Workspace, Salesforce AI, Otter.io, Canva, Slack etc.).
Thrive in Our World: Required Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in executive support, operations, CRM coordination, or project management.
  • Strong written communication skills and excellent attention to detail and organizational discipline.
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Canva and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfort with data organization, pipelines, and reporting.
AI & Automation Skills (Preferred)
  • Comfort testing, learning, and optimizing AI-driven processes.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, or similar) to enhance productivity.
  • Ability to automate administrative steps (drafts, summaries, scheduling).
  • Familiarity with CRM automation, AI-based email workflows, or integration tools.
  • Ability to create repeatable templates with AI.
