ROLES
Please note that this is not a guarantee of hire, however, those included will be among the first of whom we would reach out to for assignments under this contract should it be awarded to Kaizen. Kaizen is seeking candidates on a rolling basis for the below key management roles:
Chief of Party: Serves as designated person for overall management of the in-country relationship with USAID/OTI and providing leadership for field management of the Task Order. Responsible for financial and program management, oversight, reporting progress and quality of performance in meeting the activity undertakings of the program. Under the guidance and overall technical direction of OTI, the COP provides oversight of activities, including supervision of the program field staff, ensuring appropriate activity design, implementation, management, monitoring and evaluation, and compliance with USAID rules and regulations.
Operations Manager: Supports the COP in managing day-to-day field operations, including the project’s facilities (such as office space, equipment and project vehicles), administration, logistics, procurement, budgeting and financial accounting (which may include cash flow management, time sheet recording and daily monitoring of obligations, budgets, and expenditures). Ensures that program implementation is in accordance with USAID regulations and procedures and the specifications determined in the SOW, which may include: monitoring grantee worthiness; assuring fair and transparent procurement processes; reviewing financial management; and monitoring activity implementation.
Transition Advisor: Serves a central role in supporting the program in close coordination with the USAID/OTI Country Representative (CR) and will serve as an interlocutor with the implementing partner(s). The TA will play a key role in supporting day-to-day program management, developing and implementing, grants (small and in-kind), program reporting, and outreach efforts. Provides recommendations to shape program strategy. Coordinates closely at the field level to identify the widest range of potential partners and achieve maximum synergy with other programs.
