EnCompass LLC is seeking candidates for a Chief of Party position. The COP will lead and manage all activities to achieve project results. S/he will provide vision and overall leadership to EnCompass operations and drive the achievement of project results by ensuring the provision of timely, relevant, and high-quality services. S/He is responsible for leading all aspects of contract performance, providing technical guidance to all tasks under the contract, and representing Makanati activities as a whole to outside audiences. The COP is responsible for leading the strategic planning for the program, including but not limited to: Quarterly reports, Annual Work Plans, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Plans, close coordination with the USAID COR and ACOR and program partners in the private sector, Government of Jordan (GoJ) and donor communities, and the day-to-day operational oversight and administration of the program.
We are looking for a candidate with the ability to see and articulate a strategic vision and help teams translate that into tangible workplans and activities as well as high political acumen and strong and management skills, who can build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders. They must be an inclusive leader who can navigate change with flexibility and emotional resilience. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience focusing on results and impact, with strong strategic vision and an understanding of systems approaches to programming. They will understand how to foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning and will maintain high self-awareness and personal improvement skills.
The position is based in Amman, Jordan, and is open to all qualified applicants with a preference for Jordanian nationals and permanent residents.
