Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Compensation & Benefits Coordinator to join our HR team, ideally based in Washington DC, US. This is a remote or hybrid position, where we will consider applicants who are homebased in the US East Coast, or Central US.

This role can be homebased in the UK, however will require flexible working as this role is working closely with team members in the US on East Coast or Central time zones.

Note you must have the right to work in your remote home based location and that national terms and conditions apply.

This role is classified as requiring standard pre-employment checks.

About the opportunity

You will be part of the HR team, and provide operational and administrative support to payroll and benefit processes. This will include responding to inquiries and requests by providing timely and accurate information, with an understanding of working to multiple deadlines, as well as ensuring accurate systems and benefits record keeping, and HRIS auditing.

You will also ensure regular review and revision of HR forms as needed for compliance, new legislation or general updates related to payroll and benefits, and will be responsible for managing and updating the HR information system records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll support, including ensuring timesheets match with leave request forms on employee files
  • Prepare exit documents, review & sign Exit Clearance and Final Pay forms
  • Reward and Benefits Support, including enrolling new hires onto benefits & insurance policies on time
  • Travel insurance for business trips – ensure tracking and enrolling all staff (employees, interns and consultants) onto the corresponding travel insurance
  • Assist with communicating and processing U.S. open enrolment changes with benefits-insurance carriers and ADP
  • Providing electronic benefit ID cards to new staff
  • Conducting I-9 for all US employees
  • Support and assist with Monitoring, reporting and audit requirements
  • Upload monthly pension contributions for UK employees on Provider website
  • Maintain Benefits and Compensation and Recruitment resources

About you

You will bring the following experience and skills.

  • Track record of achievement in a previous, similar role in compensation and benefits or HR, with experience of working with an international organization
  • Previous experience of ADP an advantage
  • Bring a customer service-oriented approach together with strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Willingness to learn on the job and expand skills
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, including proven ability to focus on details
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet challenging deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR information
  • Ability to work with Excel and templates materials using Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with teams (in-person and virtual) and independently.
