International Medical Corps is a global, humanitarian, nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through health care training and relief and development programs. Established in 1984 by volunteer doctors and Nurses, International Medical Corps is a private, voluntary, nonpolitical, nonsectarian organization. Its mission is to improve the quality of life through health interventions and related activities that build local capacity in under-served communities worldwide.
International Medical Corps (IMC) has been working in South Sudan since 1994 to deliver timely humanitarian aid to the people affected by conflicts and insecurity, natural disasters because of climate change among others. Currently, we are providing support to people affected by continuous conflicts, unpreceded floods in South Sudan and the Returnees fleeing the Sudan Crisis in Upper Nile.
IMC is providing services to people of South Sudan in 5 states, Unity State, Upper Nile State, Jonglei State, Central Equatoria State and Western Bahr el Ghazel State while covering 14 Counties. IMC delivers healthcare, Nutrition services, Mental Health, and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), Protection of Women and Girls and WASH services in health facilities besides building sustainable local capacity through training programs. IMC is supporting a total of 65 health facilities, 60 nutrition sites, 14 Women and Girls Safe Spaces and two Nursing and Midwifery schools in Wau and Malakal in the aforementioned five (05) states. IMC works closely with the Government of South Sudan, donors, International and National NGOs to strengthen capacity and ensure sustainability of our programs.

Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring that financial management and accounting is in compliance with donors’ policies and procedures, development and oversight of compliance issues.
The below tasks and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by persons assigned to this position.
The level of work performed may varies depending on the complexity of country portfolio, as to the number of influencing factors and their interdependencies. Some of the factors affecting complexity may be size of country program (USD value and number of projects), variety of donors, interdependence and interrelations of projects, number of field sites, stakeholders, resources, country context, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Technical or Language Requirements
Languages: English is a must. Arabic is a plus.
Experienced working and traveling in remote, low resource, insecure environments preferred.
