CSO/Countering Propaganda and Disinformation Expert opportunity in the Caucasus and the Balkans

East-West Management Institute, Inc. (EWMI) invites applications for a CSO/Countering Propaganda and Disinformation Expert as part of EWMI’s ongoing USAID-funded programs in the Caucasus and the Balkans. This is a short-term consultancy anticipated to begin in 2020.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated knowledge of how and why propaganda and disinformation work;
• Demonstrated knowledge of international best practices (case studies) in countering disinformation and propaganda (with primary focus on preventing/mitigating their intended impact as opposed to reacting to individual cases/instances);
• Demonstrated experience providing training/consultancy on different tools for countering propaganda and disinformation;
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across sectors;
• Experience working with the civil society sector in the Caucasus and/or the Balkans (preferred).
