The Data & Analytics Project Manager I manages data and analytics projects to support specific or ongoing department initiatives, including strategic planning and marketing initiatives that drive successful programmatic expansion. This role is pivotal in driving the success of the Parenting Center’s marketing initiatives. They lead the development of data-informed strategies, optimize campaign performance, and ensure alignment with our mission and goals. Additionally, they provide guidance to foster team success, collaboration, and a positive work environment.

Background

The Mount Sinai Parenting Center’s mission is to transform the way pediatric healthcare is delivered by maximizing opportunities to promote strong parent-child relationships and early childhood development within everyday healthcare interactions. We create trainings, curricula, videos and resources for providers to use in healthcare moments with the goal of providing parents with the tools they need to foster optimal social, emotional and cognitive development in their children 0-5 years old.

This is a hybrid remote position with the option to work fully remote from anywhere in the United States. The schedule for this position aligns to East Coast standard business hours.

Responsibilities
General Data & Analytics Management

  • Applies critical thinking skills and expertise with data and analytics to aggregate and analyze varied data from multiple sources
  • Presents comprehensive reports and recommendations as a result of complex data analysis; translates quantitative and qualitative data analysis into clear language for programmatic leadership
  • Builds and maintains online platforms and databases to assess program performance and engagement metrics.
  • Generates insights from data to identify areas for improvement, optimize user experience, and evaluate programming
  • Leads ad-hoc data analysis projects aimed at addressing specific organizational challenges or questions.

Strategic Planning Support

  • Plans, directs and coordinates data analytics and evaluation activities to ensure that organizational goals and deliverables are met.
  • Collaborates with leadership to establish metrics and track progress toward key performance indicators, and develop comprehensive reports and presentations around general strategy and operations.
  • Strives to connect projects and ongoing work to the Parenting Center’s strategic vision and goals

Marketing Analytics & Strategy Development

  • Drives market research and landscape analysis to identify and evaluate target audiences and industry trends
  • Makes strategic recommendations around marketing campaigns and collaborations to interdisciplinary team based on key marketing metrics and data insights
  • Aggregates metrics and campaign data to support cost and impact analysis, ensuring high return on investment for marketing campaigns and activities
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to plan and execute data-driven marketing initiatives that support organizational development and program scale
  • Provides consultative support and partnership on programmatic data and analytics for marketing and outreach projects

Minimum Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively with complex datasets
  • Exceptional skills in data analytics, reporting, and visualization; strong preference given to candidates proficient in Salesforce / Pardot, Looker, Amplitude, Segment, SQL, Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets, and Google / Youtube Analytics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong aptitude for collaborative problem-solving, creative thinking, and project management

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

  • Able to design and implement market research strategies, and build tools and processes to collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data
  • Experience supporting teams and projects focused on pediatric healthcare, early childhood development, early childhood education, or related fields

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000, commensurate with education and experience.
