The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation has defended women’s rights since 1993. For every woman’s right to be safe and to be heard. Today we are one of the world’s leading women’s rights organisations, working directly in areas affected by war and conflict to strengthen women’s influence and power. We work closely together with over 150 local partner organisations across 20 countries to end violence against women, reach lasting peace and close the gender gap once and for all. About the internship
This internship will provide a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supporting gender equality programmes and women’s rights initiatives. You will contribute to the management and coordination of key projects while learning about the Women, Peace, and Security agenda, sexual and reproductive rights, and feminist movement building. As an intern with our Rwanda office, you will play a vital role in supporting various programme and data management activities, including data collection, monitoring, and reporting.
Throughout your internship, you will work closely with the Country Director and Programme Manager as well as Program Officers, gaining valuable insight into how international development programmes are designed, implemented, and evaluated. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to make a meaningful contribution to the empowerment of women in conflict-affected areas and gain experience in the field of women’s rights and peace-building.

Terms & Conditions and what we offer:
The internship will run for the duration of the autumn term 2025, with the start and end dates being negotiable. As a full-time intern, you will be expected to commit to 37,5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, working closely with our team on various tasks and responsibilities.
We’ll ensure the necessary insurance coverage, ideally through a program associated with the internship. In other cases, we’ll discuss feasible alternatives.
