Chemonics seeks a Data Specialist to join the FEWS NET 8 project. FEWS NET 8 Knowledge Base (FEWS NET 8 KB) is a $65 million project which will create and update FEWS NET’s knowledge base about livelihood zones and market systems on which FEWS NET’s acute food insecurity early warning analyses are predicated, thereby ensuring that USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) is able to allocate emergency food assistance effectively and in accordance with humanitarian principles. The full-time DC-based (remote eligible) Data Specialist for FEWS NET 8 KB will support the data management lead in ensuring collation and validation of primary data collected by the FEWS NET 8 KB field enumerators and processing of secondary data used as input to markets and livelihoods deliverables. The Salary Range for this position is expected to be: $68,560 - $85,700.
An employee’s pay position will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.
Overtime exemption status may change due to state regulatory requirements.
