Digital refers to the use of electronic technologies and media to deliver learning material and achieve learning outcomes for the audience. E-learning is becoming increasingly important in education globally to support children’s learning, education leadership and management, and more effective use of data for students, teachers and systems-wide learning. It could stimulate interaction between instructors and learners but also provide education in an effective manner.
To make e-learning possible, content mapping exercise and generation of digital content is a fundamental part of the process.
Purpose and Justification
Given the emerging efforts to develop eLearning within Mozambique and to work towards a coherent approach, UNICEF will generate and develop digital content on various electronic platforms for different educational groups.
Under the guidance and general supervision of the Digital Learning Specialist and the Chief of Education, the E-learning interns will work to map the provided content to existing digital material in different platforms, build some quizzes, mini games using existing resources, and online tests for children for various subjects. In addition, interns will propose and follow up and digital material that needs to be developed with partners/vendors under supervision.
The E-learning interns will provide technical assistance throughout the generation of the e-learning content and digitization of educational material, and the internship will be for a period of 4 to 6 months.

Desirables:
Proven competencies in use of search engines, educational platforms, emails and web browsers. Ability to embed items on platforms and install software and link api’s, generate interactive content on html5.
