About Global Partners for Rehabilitation
Global Partners for Rehabilitation (GPFR) is a newly formed non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to medical rehabilitation caregivers in low- and middle-income countries. GPFR focuses on supporting education and training initiatives to develop a skilled rehabilitation workforce, enhancing healthcare infrastructure, and collaborating with international partners to implement sustainable rehabilitation programs. Our mission is to bridge the gap in rehabilitation services by empowering caregivers and healthcare providers with the knowledge and resources needed to deliver high-quality care to underserved populations.
Position Summary
The Director of Fundraising and Operations is responsible for grant writing, leading and managing projects for Global Partners for Rehabilitation. This role includes identifying appropriate potential funding sources, developing grant proposals, implementing projects, managing both paid and volunteer staff, overseeing project budgets and operations, and drafting reports on project activities and outcomes. The Director of Fundraising and Operations will work closely with stakeholders to ensure projects align with the GPFR’s mission and objectives. As a new organization, the initial priority will be working with the Board and management team to determine viable projects to achieve GPFR’s goals and objectives and to grow external sources of funding to secure long-term viability of the organization.

Initially this is a volunteer position. With success in securing funding for projects, it will become a paid position. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
