BRAC International is now seeking a dynamic Director, Strategic Partnerships and Fundraising - reporting to the Executive Director of BRAC International. The role will lead a dynamic team working across central, regional, and country functions to deliver development at scale. We are looking for a creative, entrepreneurial, and ambitious impact-driven leader. In a rapidly evolving funding landscape, the Director will play a crucial role within the organisation. The Director will build on BRAC International’s strong relationships and funding base towards a robust, diversified fundraising portfolio, that is aligned with BRAC International’s organisational mission and strategic goal of implementing large-scale, integrated, community-driven programming. They will identify and deliver new opportunities for flexible funding from both traditional and non-traditional sources and drive a shift towards mission-driven giving both internally, through supporting fit-for-purpose systems and processes, and externally, by cultivating donors’ trust in the organisation’s vision and leadership
The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in driving partnerships for growth. They should demonstrate visionary and agile leadership to help shape a global funding portfolio aligned with BI’s core focus on impact and drive a culture of programme-led fundraising. The candidate should also show courageous and imaginative leadership, fostering bold ideas to access new, and emerging funding.
The Director will be a seasoned people leader with the ability to build, mentor and motivate teams to deliver in a highly innovative, entrepreneurial and mission-driven environment. They should bring experience of working in a complex organisational setting, to implement goals alongside diverse perspectives, with the ability to foster consensus. They should be able to grasp our vision and goals and translate them into tangible opportunities. A strategic, yet hands-on leader, they should exhibit a strong alignment with BRAC’s DNA , resilience and agility in a complex and changing environment, and most of all, a strong commitment to BRAC’s mission and values, including promoting Southern leadership.

The role location is flexible (preferably in London, Dhaka, Nairobi, or Den Haag) including with the ability to work across global time zones. The salary of the role will be commensurate with the seniority of the position.
