Call for experts

PwC is searching for experienced experts for public sector projects in the EU Member States.

PwC CEE has a dedicated Public Sector and Infrastructure team of more than 300 highly specialized experts working across 29 CEE countries, who support clients in the successful completion of major projects in public sector.

Our team works extensively with EU institutions, EIB, EBRD, World Bank and other IFIs as well as governments in most of CEE countries. We helped public and private clients to develop and finance a number of ground-breaking projects in public administration, digital, innovation, transportation, healthcare and social infrastructure, energy and renewable sectors, including PPPs and other private finance structures.

PwC CEE is inviting senior experts with expertise in:

  • Energy - sound knowledge of EU and national energy regulations, understanding of energy technologies (including RSE), energy economics. Coal mining and coal energy generation experience will be an added value.

  • Stakeholder engagement - demonstrated experience in managing stakeholder expectations and proven relationships and connections to a broad portfolio of local players in a given Member State (local governments, employers, business associations, NGOs, activists, etc.)

  • Socio-economic analysis - background in macro/regional economics and experience with experience in performing macroeconomic analysis, socio-economic analysis, economic forecasting, economic policies. Previous working experience in public sector (national banks, ministries, research institutes) will be an added value.

  • Environment and Sustainability - experience with performing environmental impact analysis. Previous experience in the mining sector, land rehabilitation impact assessment for new investments will be an added value.

  • State aid and EU funding - good understanding of state aid implications and EU funding regulations. Experience with the mining sector will be an added value.

The preference will be given to candidates with experience in EU funded projects.
