The Safe Abortion Action Fund (SAAF) is looking to engage a evaluation consultant for an independent assessment about the performance of SAAF at the programmatic and operational level against OECD-DAC evaluation criteria - relevance, effectiveness, efficiency and impact and sustainability – for accountability and learning. The evaluation will consider the SAAF portfolio holistically, with a secondary focus on the added value of the SAAF secretariat. It will provide conclusions to key evaluation questions, propose practical recommendations for improvement and to inform SAAF’s future strategic direction.
The main deliverables are an inception report defining methodology and approach, a final report outlining findings and recommendations and a PowerPoint presentation summarising these findings and recommendations. The consultancy is home-based.
For more information, including on how to apply for this consultancy, please see the below Terms of Reference.
Deadline for applications is Wednesday, 15 July 2020.
