Project Background
The objective of SUPPORT II is to support and strengthen the USAID/Afghanistan Mission’s monitoring and evaluation and performance management systems through project evaluations, assessments, third party monitoring and other studies. Additionally, SUPPORT II facilitates workshops, conferences, and meetings for USAID and its implementing partners and provides mapping products and translation services.

Assistance in Building Afghanistan by Developing Enterprises (ABADE)
Evaluation Team Leader : The Team Leader (TL) shall be an evaluation expert with excellent analytical skills and experience on evaluating economic growth strategies. At least ten years of program evaluation experience is required, preferably with USAID-funded SME supported programs with a partnership component. The TL shall possess at least a Master’s degree, PhD preferred, in economics, finance, SME development, international development, social science, or a related discipline. The TL should be able to write a high quality, standard, accurate and concise report in English. Afghanistan or regional country experience is preferred.

In addition, many of Checchi’s rule of law projects have included significant anticorruption components and activities. Checchi’s M&E work encompasses projects in more than 50 countries and spans the spectrum of quantitative, qualitative, and mixed approaches to managing and evaluating performance.
