Job Description

Tetra Tech International Development Pty Ltd is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced consultants and technical specialists to join our talent pool to support the Vanuatu Australia Education Support Program Phase II (VAESP), funded by the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

About the Opportunity

We are establishing a standing panel of freelance consultants and small teams to deliver high-quality data analysis and monitoring evaluation, and learning (MEL) services. Assignments will be short-term, task-based, in some cases remote, supporting a wide range of program needs in Australia and Vanuatu.

We welcome EOIs from individuals or teams with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • Advanced survey design (KoboToolbox, complex logic, multilingual support)
  • Dashboard development (Power BI, Looker Studio, Excel)
  • Custom form/app building for mobile or web-based data collection
  • Statistical scripting in R for automation, cleaning, and analysis
  • Quantitative data analysis (regression, factor analysis, forecasting)
  • Qualitative coding and synthesis (NVivo or similar)
  • Research design (protocols, analysis plans, sampling)
  • Transcription and translation (Bislama, English, French)
  • Moderation of interviews or focus groups, rapid transcription/translation

What We’re Looking For

  • Availability for short-term assignments on demand
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with access to required software/tools
  • Relevant experience and past performance (especially in the Pacific, education, or development sectors)
  • Language capability (Bislama & French desirable)
  • Responsiveness and reliability under tight deadlines
