Ensure completeness of supporting documents within MSFSA’s regional office and maintain hard files and folders.
Assist in the data entry process of the Tally system (Journal vouchers and payment vouchers).
Assist in the preparation of bank transfer letters for the regional office.
Any other tasks in the Finance Department, depending on the priority.
Terms of Reference
Assist in processing and recording accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
Support the finance team in day-to-day accounting activities, including data entry, reconciliations, and maintaining financial records.
Visit banks, the Inland Revenue Department (IRD), or other government offices as required for official matters.
Collect, evaluate, and interpret financial and statistical data.
Prepare and maintain organized records and documentation.
Perform other finance-related tasks as required, based on departmental priorities.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, or holding part qualifications from AAT, CA Sri Lanka, or any other recognized accounting body.
Basic Proficiency in MS Excel and Accounting Systems.
Any prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting will be considered an advantage.
Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-office internship for a period of six months.
Skills required
Working experience / Knowledge of Windows Operating System, Microsoft office Applications (specially working experience on MS Outlook, Excel and Word), Microsoft Teams, Zoom
Basic IT knowledge to resolve and troubleshoot the ICT related issues
Precise and clear communication
