Successful candidates will support our-super talented Marketing & Communications team with that delivery through a proven commitment to responsive and high-performant architecture, the latest development trends, pixel perfect execution and ensuring all users have positive interactions with our digital communications.

This is a freelance position. Work will be assigned on an as needed basis under mutually agreed upon timelines. All applications must include a link to a portfolio of work. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Establish an object-oriented framework for building re-usable, maintainable, and performant JS/HTML/CSS
• Work to create JS & HTML/CSS markup and templates with a strong focus on clarity, maintainability, flexibility, cross-browser compatibility and performance
• Build new websites from start to finish
• Accept program content from marketing and execute using Marketo to ensure a successful user experience across devices and platforms
• Periodically perform maintenance updates to existing pages

Minimum Qualifications:

• Expertise in creating user interfaces with JavaScript, HTML/5, & CSS3
• Proven knowledge of responsive and usable web design practices, including cross-browser and device compatibility issues and limitations
• Strong communication skills
• Experience developing within a marketing automation platform
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent organization and multitasking ability
• High attention to detail and pixel-perfect execution
• Ability to solve visual design challenges

Preferred Qualifications:

• Marketo certification
• General understanding of Agile Development process
• Ability to cut graphics

Job Location

• This is a virtual position, but those local to a Devex office have the option to work on-site.
