The Opportunity
Australia Awards PNG (AAPNG) supports Papua New Guinea’s development by strengthening education, knowledge transfer, and institutional capacity, while building enduring Australia–PNG relationships. The program delivers high-quality education, fosters institution-to-institution partnerships, and develops the next generation of PNG leaders.
As the GEDSI Coordinator, you’ll drive initiatives that strengthen equality and inclusion “in the DNA” of the program. From establishing GEDSI (Gender, Equity, Diversity and Social Inclusion) baselines and supporting mainstreaming across all scholarship activities, to strengthening safeguarding, influencing inclusive communications, and empowering staff through capacity‑building, your work will have a direct impact on opportunities for women, people with disability, and those from rural and remote communities.
