Chemonics seeks a geographic information systems (GIS) specialist for the USAID Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) funded LAC Regional Disaster Assistance Program (RDAP). The GIS specialist will provide information support for the BHA/LAC regional office. The GIS specialist will support BHA/LAC and RDAP program and assistance tracking, as well as support the emergency management thematic area in the provision of technical assistance and training related to information management for emergencies. Individuals with experience working with BHA on disaster management and response programming are highly encouraged to apply. This program is in the proposal stage and the position is contingent upon the future solicitation and USAID’s award decision for the new program. This role is based in San Jose, Costa Rica.
