We at KPMG are looking for International GIS / Remote Sensing Experts in Gandhinagar, Gujarat with Forest & Environment project experience with following criteria:
International Experts - Those who have worked in 3 countries (including their home country) with minimum of 2 years in each country.
1. GIS / RS Expert -1 :
Education & Work experience:
- Master’s Degree or higher in RS or GIS technology Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of working experience in the fields of RS or GIS
- Sufficient field experience in a capacity development program, including designing training programs and developing training materials
- Experience with handling various RS and GIS software such as ESRI ArcGIS, ERDAS Imagine, eCognition, ENVI, and QGIS
- Experience with drone-based surveys
- Experience with field data collection (ground truthing) using GPS or other mobile devices
Work experience in the forestry sector in India
- Work experience with technical assistance aid projects
- Good understanding about international industrial trends in GIS and RS technology
2. GIS / RS Expert -2 :
Education & Work experience
- Master’s Degree or higher in fields of RS or geospatial information technology Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of working experience in development work, using satellite imagery data and geospatial information technology
- Experience with satellite Big Data cloud processing system such as Google Earth Engine and in-depth relevant knowledge and skills
- Experience with database management and system architecture design.
- Work experience with grassland management, wildlife management, and coastal forest management
- Work experience with technical assistance aid projects
- Good understanding about international industrial trends in GIS and RS technology
