About the Global Digital Fundraising Manager:

The Global Digital Fundraising Manager will oversee the production, deployment, and analysis of 350’s global digital fundraising campaigns across email, paid media, SMS, website, and social media. This role will heavily focus on our largest digital fundraising audience in the United States, but they will be responsible for executing all of 350’s global digital fundraising appeals alongside a team. This individual has 7+ years of experience in raising $3M+ annually through digital fundraising efforts in the United States and internationally. They have a strong history working with digital fundraising tools and solutions across Meta, Google, Salesforce, and other CRM, Fundraising, and Paid Media platforms. This individual will refine the process for reviewing and evaluating our Global Digital Fundraising efforts to improve ROI across all channels and create the most effective strategy for revenue growth, as well as donor growth and retention. Finally, this individual will line-manage a Fundraising and Engagement Specialist and work closely with the entire Individual Giving and Engagement Team.

Essential Duties

  • Oversee the Global Digital Fundraising program, including working with a small team of colleagues and consultants in North America and Europe, to create and deploy a strategy that delivers $3M+ in annual digital revenue, alongside other growth metrics.
  • Support all content development and lead the implementation of digital fundraising efforts at the global, national and regional levels across email, SMS, paid media, social media, and website.
  • Prioritize the strategic planning, content creation, and deliverables needed to execute a highly-effective US digital fundraising program - 350’s largest audience and source of revenue.
  • Create compelling fundraising campaigns and assets in all channels that inspire donors to give, give again, and give larger donations; As required support rapid response content to drive donations.
  • Monitor and analyze the Global Digital Fundraising program’s performance across all channels and data sets to ensure we are capturing the greatest ROI with our strategy and meeting/exceeding our annual goals among revenue growth and donor growth and retention.
  • Support the Individual Giving Director in creating the most accurate revenue projections and forecasting across all digital outreach.
  • Support the Digital Engagement and Technology Director in ensuring the adoption of innovative tools and methods that grow and activate more donors.
  • Collaborate with the Individual Giving Team to amplify ongoing donor cultivation and strategy.
  • Overall, work closely with national, regional and global staff to design and implement effective digital fundraising content that increases 350.org’s donor base and revenue generation.
  • Other duties as assigned  

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of creating and implementing effective digital fundraising strategies that have raised $3M+ annually, primarily in the United States. 
  • Significant experience with paid media strategies for digital fundraising across the US, as well as Canada, Europe, and emerging markets.
  • Strong familiarity with digital fundraising tools and platforms such as Fundraise Up, ActionKit, ActBlue, Meta, Salesforce; Proven expertise in planning complex email fundraising campaigns, including rigorous A/B testing on subject lines, content, and layouts to optimize conversion rates.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management skills in planning, prioritizing, and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of managing external agencies and contractors.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and communications skills.
  • High level of confidence and ability to work independently as well as within a team structure; Proven ability to work well with diverse groups of people in different departments, functions and timezones.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written.
  • Alignment with 350.org’s vision, mission and progressive values.
  • Experience with experimental design, data visualization, and statistical analysis.
  • Strong capacity to manage competing priorities. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect confidential data.

Desired (but not required) skills and experiences 

  • Strong history of commitment to climate justice and other environmental and social issues.
  • Experience working in or collaborating with other nonprofit departments, including finance, individual giving, communications, and grants.

We are looking for someone comfortable working both independently and in teams, highly responsive, and able to lead initiatives as well as take direction from others.

Position Type: Full Time

Compensation: We offer set, non-negotiable salaries for each level, and this role is at 350.org’s internal salary grade level 3.1. Please review this list for the annual gross salary for this level.

Benefits: In addition to a fully remote, 36-hour work week and two all-staff breaks per year, we offer a suite of comprehensive benefits - details depend on the location of the role, but we generally aim for employees to receive high-quality health insurance and retirement planning benefits in their respective location.

Location: This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in North America.
