Job Summary: The Global Stand for Her Land Campaign Manager (S4HL GM) will lead management and coordination functions for the Stand for Her Land (S4HL) Campaign, to support the global movement for women’s land rights. The S4HL GM will provide support to members of the S4HL Global Steering Committee (SC), in particular the Director for the Center for Women’s Land Rights (Center Director), who serves as Landesa’s lead representative to the S4HL SC. Leveraging management and communications skills, high-level administrative skills, and movement building passion and abilities, the S4HL GM will:
· Lead execution of the S4HL SC strategy, including needed support to SC member organizations, relationship building and maintenance with key partners, and coordination of SC workplan
· Manage coordination of Landesa’s S4HL Global team activities and contributions to SC workplan, including grassroots engagement and movement building, stakeholder database efforts, strategic direction and fundraising, global and regional advocacy and partnerships, and coordination with Coalitions and SC members
· Support SC engagement with S4HL Coalitions by improving and maintaining management and communications systems
· Provide feedback and advice to SC on approaches to improve strategy delivery, streamline workflows and improve communication, and otherwise increase S4HL’s impact
· Support execution of fundraising plan, including outreach to key development partners and other key S4HL allies
· Liaison with S4HL project teams within Landesa as needed to support information flows to SC
· Lead event planning and engagement calendar management, in collaboration with Landesa Communications team and other SC communications teams
· Other responsibilities as needed
Reporting and Relationships: The Global S4HL Campaign Manager (S4HL GM) reports to the Center Director.
Availability: The S4HL GM will be expected to work a standard work week of 40 hours plus additional hours as necessary to get the job done. Some international and domestic travel may be required.
Essential Job Functions:
Management and Coordination
§ Lead iterative improvement (and development where needed) of management and administrative “infrastructure” for the Stand for Her Land (S4HL) campaign, including: leading workplan execution and monitoring for the SC; developing systems and tools to support SC and Coalition coordination; serving as lead on event planning and developing an engagement calendar, in collaboration with Landesa Communications team;
§ Provide complementary support to Landesa’s Global Advocacy team (on engagement calendar, event planning, stakeholder mapping, etc.), and support coordination internally between Global Advocacy and S4HL activities as needed;
§ Support overall strategy implementation for S4HL at the global level in collaboration with the Center Director, S4HL Steering Committee members, and other key stakeholders;
§ Cultivate new partnerships and maintain existing ones, in alignment with and to inform strategic priorities; serve as key liaison between Steering Committee and broad S4HL network;
§ Support strategic direction for S4HL: provide input to Center Director and S4HL Steering Committee members as needed on how communications with stakeholders inform current thinking and next steps for S4HL;
§ Coordinate Landesa’s engagement with Steering Committee partners, S4HL Country Coalition members, and other key S4HL stakeholders;
§ Support fundraising efforts for S4HL, in coordination with Center Director, Landesa’s S4HL Global team, Landesa’s Resource Development team, and other S4HL Steering Committee members.

Work Environment and Working Conditions for Travelers: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to working conditions and hazards which are prevalent for the location and/or country of assignment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work is primarily performed indoors with some potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to electronics work. The employee may be required to travel overseas and domestically. When traveling, the employee may be exposed to: physical hazards (illnesses, noise, extreme temperatures, wet or humid climates, etc.), road hazards (unfinished/dirt roads, potholes, traffic-related accidents, etc.), and atmospheric conditions (odors, dust, fumes, smog, etc.).
