Job Summary:
As a member of the Country Program’s (CP) Senior Management Team, you will provide leadership and management of the operational functions - Finance, Human Resources (HR), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Administration, Information and Communication Technology, Security and Audit - in support of the Catholic Relief Services’ (CRS) mission to serve the poor and vulnerable. You will promote stewardship of resources, ensure principled compliance, proactively manage risk, and lead operational improvements. As part of the Senior Management Team you will proactively manage security and mitigate security risks.
Position Scope and Scale:
CRS has been working in Haiti since 1954. CRS/ Haiti has a dynamic program working in the areas of Resiliency and Emergency Response, Agriculture and Livelihoods, Education, Youth and Protection and child well-being in alignment with Changing the Way We Care. Within these areas, the program is focusing on scaling-up impact in alignment with both regional and agency strategies. Haiti remains a country with a volatile environment that exposes the people to hardship and vulnerability, and at the same time, there is high visibility and interest from the international, diaspora, and in-country communities to find durable solutions. CRS is uniquely positioned to facilitate a process of transformation at scale in Haiti. Current donors include the Kellogg and other Foundations, USAID, European Union, USDA, and the Canadian Government.
