Job Description Support to the Recruitment & Career Service

Recruitment:

  • Publish, close, and update job advertisements (HQ and field) on the Solidarités International website and partner platforms.
  • Send mandatory training invitations to newly hired staff.
  • Respond to support requests related to recruitment software in coordination with the service provider.
  • Support field HR teams in expatriate recruitment, including training on posting vacancies and using recruitment tools.
  • Draft and circulate the monthly HR newsletter.
  • Conduct pre-screening of unsolicited applications.
  • Support pre-screening of applications and assist with planning of briefings and debriefings in coordination with Recruitment & Career Path Managers.

Induction:

  • Organize monthly induction sessions: consolidate schedules and modules, send invitations to speakers and participants.
  • Provide logistical and coordination support during induction sessions.
Support to the Technical HR Department

HR Tools & Data Management:

  • Monitor updates to the HR pack and verify related data.
  • Assist with service-level reporting.
  • Contribute to maintaining internal collaborative platforms (e.g., SharePoint).

Process Improvement:

  • Support documentation of internal procedures.
  • Assist in developing HR communication materials (guides, tutorials, FAQs).
  • Participate in user testing of new HR tools and developments.

First-Level Support:

  • Redirect internal HR queries to appropriate focal points.
  • Draft standard responses and supporting materials for Country Offices.
General Departmental Support
  • Attend team meetings and provide minutes when required.
  • Provide ad hoc assistance to team members (e.g., archiving, salary calculations).
Profile

Education / Experience:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Human Resources or a related field.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their use in HR/recruitment.

Languages:

  • Fluency in English is required.
