Job Description

The United Nations Office for Project Services (hereinafter “UNOPS”) invites organisations to submit documents for prequalification in the English language for the provision of Humanitarian Mine Action and Peace and Security Services (HMA and P&S) for the UNOPS Peace and Security Cluster.


This Global HMA and P&S Pre-Qualification is a formal method of assessing an organisation against a set of pre-determined criteria. This process is not related to any specific solicitation process, but instead focuses on a general assessment of an organisations’ operational, technical and personnel capabilities. It also reviews an organization’s internal processes, quality management and financial health.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Interested vendors must respond to this tender using the UNOPS eSourcing system, via the UNGM portal. Background Information - PSC

The UNOPS Peace and Security Cluster (PSC) is a principal service provider in the field of mine action with the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS), UNDP, UNICEF, Governments of mine-affected countries and other mine action partners.

The Center is responsible to administer, provide support and oversight of the day-to-day management of the Project Field offices, both according to the client requirements and in line with UNOPS rules and regulations.

It is headed by the Center Director who has the overall authority and accountability for the performance of the Peace and Security Cluster on behalf of its clients.
