Information Communication Technology (ICT) Specialist

Job Description

International Development Group LLC (IDG) is preparing to submit a proposal for the Public Financial Management-II (PFM) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ). The PFM II IDIQ will provide support for the public sector in developing countries that USAID serves. The program goal is to assist governments in building sound public financial management systems that include transparency, accountability, and internationally recognized standards so that they are better able to achieve broad-based economic growth.

Position Overview:

The ICT Specialist will have experience related to ICT solutions, particularly in support of e-commerce and e- government initiatives within developing countries. This includes assessing communication needs to improve knowledge sharing, developing programs and training to promote efficient and effective technologies. Additional experience in developing monitoring systems to incentivize results is a plus.

Other Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred;
• A minimum of 10 years’ relevant work experience is required; 15 years’ relevant work experience is preferred;
• Strong communications, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills; excellent report writing abilities required;
• Ability to work as a part of a team;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; and
• Professional proficiency in other languages preferred.
