The objective of the assignment is to lead the development of a student admission policy to be piloted in the four Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) in key sectors: Agricultural Mechanization, Tourism, Renewable Energy, and Marine Transport.
Role overviewThe selected International Short-Term Expert will; work with the National Short-Term Expert (NSTE) to conduct relevant stakeholder consultations on the existing policies and practices, small scale policy research, review the available evidence, provide an analysis and actionable recommendations on topics including equity of access, gender and disability inclusion, policy alignment, student reintegration, work-based learning, and further education pathways.
The NSTE shall also deliver the inception report and work plan, draft policy paper, stakeholder validation workshops and final policy paper and recommendations report.
The assignment will take 20 days to be completed; by 2 missions to Malawi running from September to December 2025.
